Terms of Use

ChessMirror is operated by Ours Encompassed LLC and provides educational chess analysis and training tools. It does not guarantee rating improvement, competitive results, or complete accuracy of third-party data.

Acceptable use

Use coaching, scouting, and replay tools responsibly and in accordance with tournament rules and Chess.com terms. Do not use ChessMirror to receive outside assistance in a live game where help is prohibited.

Public data and third parties

Game and profile information comes from public Chess.com services and may be unavailable, delayed, or changed. ChessMirror is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Chess.com.

Mirror mode

Play Against Your Mirror is a local behavioral-clone training mode, not an engine replacement. It models patterns from recurring game positions and provides confidence and rationale for likely continuation choices. It does not promise “best move” guarantees and does not use external AI services.

App boundaries

Third-party analytics SDKs, crash-report upload SDKs, StoreKit subscriptions, and automatic CloudKit sync are not enabled by default. The Local edition may include on-device Stockfish analysis; the App Store edition is released without Stockfish/NNUE bundling.

Availability

Features may evolve in future releases. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. Questions can be submitted through the support page.
